Memory write ups
Vial #1 - Graduation day
The Young Justice team wasn't doing so well. Superboy's emotions through the whole memory seem to contain layers of responsibility and guilt and unpleasant things. Particularly because they're just recovering from other problems when this memory happens. It basically starts when a powerful corporation named Optitron offers to sponsor the Titans and Young Justice after summoning them to San Francisco. Nightwing is against it, but the rest isn't so sure about turning down the offer. Superboy, which the memory focuses on, doesn't seem to mind the idea because he considers the implications behind it a lot less, but they have little time to think it over. When they're all about to leave, a mysterious cybernetic girl known as Indigo emerges from the future and gets all personal with Cyborg. They all get into fight without quite understanding the situation, which quickly gets out of control. Nightwing is unable to lead both teams and Impulse, Empress and Superboy make things worse. In the end, the cybernetic girl teleports away and half of Young Justice and Titans ends up at the hospital.
While Cassie, Wonder Girl, blamed herself and doesn't think Young Justice is doing a good job as a team supposed to help people. Robin does the same with Superboy, in private, as Superboy gets dressed. Robin doesn't hesitate to mention how stupid it was to jump the homicidal android and Superboy doesn't deny it. Superboy is angry and frustrated and he tries to make a point that the Titans probably made similar mistakes when they started, but Robin doesn't agree. What is there to agree with? The Titans made a name for themselves while the Young Justice started up very differently, with no direction. Yet when the two teams were together, both lose half of their members in less than five minutes. Superboy knows it, knows there's a lot to learn, that he had been impulsive. With those thoughts, shortly after they learn it's nowhere over. As a note, Superboy calls Robin Tim, so they're on a first name basis by now.
Unwittingly, the cybernetic girl from the future activates a rogue Superman android that was kept inside one of the S T A R facilities. The Titans and Young Justice members still in one piece go to check out the situation, but since they thought the man was Superman himself, not an android, they can barely react before Omen is killed in front of all of them. They fight, two staying behind to fix the cybernetic girl because apparently she wasn't evil and would maybe be able to help. Nightwing tries to direct the operation but then again Superboy ignores directions and gets close to the Superman android and gets hurt, saved by Nightiwing and then by Troia. Troia fights and when it seems she was about to destroy the android, it uses its lasers and kills her.
Two Titans die. Nightwing disbands the Titans. After Troia's funeral, Superboy, Wonder Girl and Robin argue about how they're all inept children running around pretending to be heroes. Superboy doesn't want to think that to be true, but it's impossible to argue against the facts. How many things have gone wrong? Too many. Always too many. You want to believe you all can learn, but Wonder Girl leaves saying they will never learn enough. Superboy loves her and he can't even comfort her.
